TS Tax Consultants was set up by Sandy Taeymans.

Sandy is a lawyer by training. He obtained a Master's degree in Law from the University of Antwerp. He then specialised in tax law (Master in Tax Law) at the University of Antwerp and in company law (Master in Company Law) at the Catholic University of Brussels.

Sandy also obtained an LL.M. in International Tax Law at the Economic University of Vienna (‘Wirschaftsuniversität Wien’) and he carried out research into the international tax treatment of artists, sportspersons and their respective companies in triangular situations. This research was published in the book ‘Triangular Tax Cases’.

Sandy began his professional career with an international tax advice office (one of the ‘Big Four’) in which he mainly advised Belgian and foreign multinationals in various areas of Belgian and international tax law. A few years later he shifted his focus to the individual. He was responsible for providing tax and legal advice to individuals on a national and international scale. For several years he was Manager Estate Planning with an international tax advice office.

Sandy is recognised as a tax consultant by the Belgian Institute for Tax Advisors and Accountants (ITAA) and is an accredited member of various national and international professional associations.
